Jeff Hyde is Ideas in Focus founder and Managing Director. A RIVA trained moderator, he has over 25 years of experience in marketing, advertising, new product development, and market research. He has been a speaker and trusted resource for universities, marketing groups, the media, and organizations seeking expert insight into the mind of the modern consumer.
Jeff works closely with his clients to understand their needs and objectives so they can pursue the best approach and uncover learnings that are both insightful and actionable. He is an experienced facilitator, moderator, interviewer, and ethnographic researcher, and has conducted hundreds of web-based, in-home, in-store, and shop-along interviews. His experience covers many categories and includes working with consumer, business-to-business, non-profit, and government clientele.
Prior to forming Ideas in Focus in 2003, he worked for Doner and JWT advertising agencies. At Doner, he led new product development and national advertising efforts for Bush Brothers and Arby’s. At JWT, he worked as a New Product Consultant to Ford Motor Company’s worldwide product platforms and was involved in consumer research and product development for vehicles in national and international markets.
Jeff is actively involved in community philanthropy and has served on the boards for several Cleveland, Ohio non-profit organizations.
